About FDP: AIMSR & ASBM are committed to providing Faculty Development Programmes (FDPs) for Faculty with the passion to enrich their knowledge and teaching skills. The FDPs are carefully designed to accommodate the continuously evolving and changing industry trends & broaden the understanding of participants.

Programme overview: Teaching & Research is an intensive focus area of this FDP to enhance research and teaching capabilities of Commerce and Finance faculty members. This FDP aims to equip management educators in the domain of finance and investment planning with subject-specific knowledge, emerging empirical issues, and analytical tools to enable them to be better facilitators. This FDP will provide exhaustive learning in areas such as taxation and fund raising, digital banking, investment processes, Crypto currency & block chain technology and financial aspects of Marketing. The primary focus of this FDP will be to upgrade the teaching, training, case writing, and research skills of commerce and finance faculty members.

Programme objectives:

  • To cover each topic using the case study methods
  • To make extensive use of excel while teaching trainers
  • To supplement relevant study material with latest examples of trades in Finance

Aditya Institute of Management Studies and Research organised five-days of Faculty Development Program (FDP) on the theme “Financial Management; Teaching Perspective” from 19th to 23rd July 2022. On 19th July Director, Dr. Sunita Srivasatava, welcomed all the Faculty participants from different educational Institutes in India. To name few, Sheila Raheja School of Business Management & Research, Garware Institute of Career Education & Development, Tolani College of Commerce, Anjuman College, HVPS Ramniranjan Jhunjhunwala College Vishwakarma University-Pune, Lexicon MILE, SNG Institute of Management and Research, ASBM and many more. She stated that the objective of the FDP is to enhance research, case writing and teaching capabilities of Faculty members.

Expert speakers/trainers included Mr. Ramakrish Ambat, Head – Business Development, Masflair; Mr. Ananthkrishnan Amarnath, Former IT and MIS Head, SBI, Karnataka; CA Rupesh Shah, Finance Consultant and Corporate Trainer and CA LLM Pushpendra Dixit, Taxation Professional and Consultant. The FDP provided insights onto the current trending topics in the field of finance which included Financial aspects of Marketing, Digital Banking, Investment Processes, Crypto Currency and Blockchain Technology and Taxation & Fund Raising.
