The IBM SkillsBuild Skill Sessions and Hands-on Workshop for MCA Students was organised by Aditya Institute of Management Technology and Research (AIMTR) in association with IBM and the Edunet Foundation on 12 October 2026.

The programme aimed to enhance students’ technical competencies and bridge the gap between academic learning and industry requirements through practical, hands-on training. The workshop was conducted by Mr. Rohidas Shelkar, Software Developer (Django REST API) at Edunet Foundation, who guided students through key topics, including Python fundamentals, Django framework essentials, building and testing REST APIs, and database integration and deployment. The session emphasised experiential learning, practical implementation, and the development of industry-relevant programming skills. Through demonstrations and hands-on activities, students gained valuable exposure to modern web development technologies and their real-world applications. The programme encouraged students to strengthen their technical expertise, apply their knowledge to practical challenges, and develop skills aligned with evolving industry expectations, thereby supporting their professional growth and career readiness.
