79th Independence Day – Naya Bharat
The 79th Independence Day of India was celebrated with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervor at our institution. The event commenced with the unfurling of the National Flag, followed by the rendition of the National Anthem, which filled the atmosphere with pride and reverence.
This year, the celebration was graced by Commander Michael Coutinho (Retd.) as the Chief Guest. In his address, he highlighted the significance of independence, the sacrifices of freedom fighters, and the responsibility of every citizen in nation-building. His inspiring words motivated the audience to contribute positively towards the progress of the nation.
The theme of the celebration was “Naya Bharat”, symbolizing a progressive, self-reliant, and united India..
On this occasion, Shri Ashish Mishra Sir delivered a thought-provoking message emphasizing the importance of promoting ‘Make in India’ by using products manufactured within the country. He urged everyone to support indigenous industries as a step towards strengthening the national economy and reducing dependency on foreign goods.
The celebration concluded with a vote of thanks, acknowledging the efforts of the organizing committee, faculty members, students, and staff for making the event a success.
