On 10 October 2026, Aditya Institute of Management Studies and Research (AIMSR) and Aditya School of Business Management (ASBM) came together to host a webinar on “Behavioural Decision Making: Understanding the Psychology Behind Choices.”

We were fortunate to have Dr. Gurumurthy Kalyanaram as our speaker. A Professor, Global Academic Leader, Management & Policy Consultant, and Doctoral Alumnus of MIT, he shared clear and practical insights into why people make the decisions they do. He connected the psychology behind our choices to real situations in business and policy, and kept the session lively with examples everyone could relate to. The Q&A that followed gave participants the chance to ask questions and take the conversation further.

The webinar was open to students, faculty, and working professionals, and it turned out to be a meaningful opportunity to learn, exchange ideas, and think differently about everyday decisions.
